Dating-3 Types of Dates

Dating - 3 types of DatesFor most people that date, there are usually three main types of dates that they go on. While there is no best type of date, ultimately it is up to you to go on dates where you can enjoy yourself and get to know the other person. Here are some tips.

Formal Dates

While you might not think they are formal, if you are going through all the rituals of a date such as buying a small gift, getting dressed up and spending money on a fancy restaurant, you are probably on a formal date.

Dates With Other People and Couples (double dating)

Many people decide to go out not only with a new date, but with other people. This is a great way to keep the conversation going and have lots of fun without feeling too self conscious that all the attention is either on you or the other person.

Dates Built Around Activities

For many of us, talking doesn’t come that easy. While some people can make small talk for hours, many of us are reserved or even shy. For these types of people a date that is built around an activity is best. For instance it can be as simple as meeting at a bowling alley or deciding to go to a park to go rollerblading. This way you can focus on the activity and from time to time talk to each other.
