Cafes are usually places that have great atmosphere, are filled with people and offer a small menu to get either a drink or something sweet to eat. The reason cafes are a great place to go on a date with someone, is because most people date others to get to know them better. You will be hard pressed to find out a lot about a person in a dark, smoky club, where the music is blasting so loud, you can't have a conversation.

Cafes are built for talking and communicating. They usually either have a soft, comfortable ambiance, or a jazzy feel to them where there is plenty of positive energy. Coffee is also a great drink to have to keep you perky and wide eyed with attention. If you are not a coffee drinker, you can always have a soft drink, tea or even some wine. Many cafes are the perfect place to talk, meet others and get to know the other person.
